Alan Shearer backs Tottenham ace Harry Kane to win the Premier League Golden Boot this season. The Premier League's all-time top goalscorer, thinks Kane he'll outgun Lukaku over the course of the campaign.
Asked about the battle for the Golden Boot, Shearer told Coral :
"I think it'll be a shootout between Kane and Lukaku.
"And, if you're gonna put me on the spot, I'll go for Harry Kane.
"I think he'll get another one as he did last season.
"He finished the season incredibly well, for him to pip Lukaku at Everton then. He might just do the same again."
Lukaku has impressed since joining United from Everton in a deal worth a whopping £75m in July. While Kane has been in scintillating form himself after bouncing back from another barren August, getting on the scoresheet 11 times in nine games.
