Jose Mourinho has insisted that he is a “much better” coach at Manchester United than he ever was at Chelsea because he has become more mature.
Speaking to Portuguese newspaper Record , Mourinho said: :I am a much better coach today, precisely because of the different control of my emotions.
“The way I deal with difficulties. I feel more mature.”
Mourinho led Manchester United to the Europa League and League Cup title in his first campaign in charge at Old Trafford last season and is now targeting the Premier League with his new club.
Manchester United return to Premier League action after the international break next weekend with a crunch clash against Liverpool at Anfield.
In four of their next five matches, Man United face tough test ahead to Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea. If the team can be as impressive in those games as they have been until now, there will be no doubt of their status as title favourites with the rivals from across town.
