The Manchester clubs are the kings of Europe this season, according to UEFA statistics. City and United top the UEFA coefficient rankings for the 2017/18 season
after three rounds of the Champions League group stages ahead of the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona.

In the coefficient rankings, City and United have 11.614 points to their name from this season. Barcelona sit in third place, ever so slightly behind on 11.228, before Paris Saint-Germain, Besiktas, Chelsea, Tottenham and Real Madrid make up the top eight.

However, in the overall coefficients, which are calculated over the course of five seasons, it is a different story which makes grim reading for English clubs. City are the highest-ranked Premier League team in eighth, with Arsenal 10th, Chelsea 13th and United 14th.
