Tottenham talisman Harry Kane and Manchester City ace Sergio Aguero lead the top flight goalscoring chart at the moment, with eight goals notched this season.
Just behind them on seven strikes are other City men Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus, Chelsea’s Alvaro Morata, Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku and Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah.
Joint frontrunner Kane has won the award for the previous two campaigns, scoring 29 goals last year and 25 in 2015-16.
The only other current player to have bagged it in previous years is Aguero, with his total of 26 goals scored in 2014-15 earning him the golden boot for that season..
But who are the favourites to scoop the prize this year?
