Man United were denied a win against Chelsea today thanks to Ross Barkley’s late equaliser – and former Manchester City ace Mario Balotelli absolutely loved it.
After going a goal down in the first
half courtesy of Antonio Rudiger’s header in the opening 20 minutes,
Manchester United fought back to take a 2-1 lead thanks to a brace from
Anthony Martial after the break.
The dramatic turnaround looked as if Manchester United were going to secure three vital points on their travels.
However, Barkley’s injury-time winner meant Manchester United’s six-year wait for a win at Stamford Bridge continues a little longer.
And Manchester City opened a nine-point gap between themselves and United following their emphatic 5-0 win over Burnley at the Etihad.

And former Manchester City man Balotelli couldn’t resist mocking their rivals in a cheeky post on Instagram after the stalemate.
Balotelli uploaded a picture of him watching the game to his Instagram story alongside the caption:
“Manchester utd fans.. LOL,” along with “come City always”.
Red Devils boss Mourinho lamented his side’s result claiming it was “undeserved”.
“A fantastic match, a very undeserved result for us but that is football,” he said
“We were the best team, even in the first half when we were losing.
“We were in control, tactically - the result is really unfair for us.
“We conceded from two set-pieces, but that is a way to score goals and you have to be able to defend against that.

“Anthony Martial is improving, he is doing different things than before.
“He is a more complete player than before - but he needs to improve.
“He has a huge talent and he wants it, which is a good thing. The team as a team was really good.”
