But according to The Sun, it appears the Bundesliga giants are leading the race for Zizou as their new long-term boss.
Mourinho faces the sack if United don’t qualify for the Champions League next season, but with Zidane slipping away from their grasp, they may reconsider keeping Jose
Zizou has been out of work since the summer after calling time on his stint at the Bernabeu - in the same month as winning his third European title.
Zidane no only dominated Europe during his two-and-a-half-year spell, he also won the 2016-17 La Liga title to become one of the continent's most sought-after bosses.
