Manchester City have targeted a new understudy goalkeeper and are ready to make their move

USA stopper Zach Steffen is on the radar and according to The Athletic, City and Columbus Crew have agreed a deal worth around £7million for the 23-year-old.

Steffen doesn’t qualify for a work permit however and is not guaranteed to get one upon appeal.
However, given he is the current US No.1, he is likely to play enough to get one in time for next season.

City are currently without second choice Claudio Bravo due to serious injury.

According to Mundo Deportivo , Spurs and Fulham have started monitoring the former Barcelona youth product, who has been on the radar of West Ham and the Reds for some time.

The 25-year-old centre back was recently handed his second cap for Spain and could now take his talents to the Premier League
