Jose Mourinho or Pep Guardiola – it’s been a question asked many times as the two went to war in Spain as Real Madrid and Barcelona managers, and now in England as Manchester United and Manchester City bosses.
One coach rivalling both of them in the Premier League and definitely giving Pep some trouble is Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

Back in his homeland of Germany, Klopp was asked a series of questions by Sky’s German branch with one of interest to United and City fans being: “Pep Guardiola or Jose Mourinho?”
Klopp responded decisively: “Pep Guardiola,” then continued, “It’s not about better, I think Pep is THE best coach in the world. So you could have asked about any other name. It’s not about the comparison with Jose, Pep is doing quite alright.”
The Liverpool manager seems to have a solution to Guardiola’s brand of football that no other coach does, although City were one missed Riyad Mahrez penalty away from ending a long winless run at Anfield recently.
