Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has taken a dig at Manchester City who celebrated their win over Bournemouth as if they've win the Premier League title.
City had 82% of the possession and attempted 23 shoots on goal with 3 of those shoots hitting the bar. Although, they got the win thanks to Riyad Mahrez who scored minutes after replacing the injured Kevin de Bruyne.
Klopp who watched Match of the Day two days ago was left fuming watching them celebrate thier victories.
"I'm completely fine with chasing. Who wants to be top of the table at the beginning of March? It is nice but there are lots of games to play", Klopp said during his post match conference.
"I watched match of the Day last night and saw the celebrations of Manchester City. They had 900 chances and scored one goal, a shot with the wrong foot. You have to be ready for these chances."
Liverpool haven't won the League title since 1990, in fact they haven't lifted since the inception of Premier League in 1992 but Klopp is optimistic his team can win this season and all his boys have to do is believe.
"I believe 100% in our chance. Game by game by game, my feeling gets better about the boys because they look really ready for it".
"We didn't score, that happens. It was a difficult game. It was just a fight and we were ready for that fight. Now we have a point more than before. All good".
Liverpool will play Burnley next and Jurgen Klopp will be hoping his team find their shooting boot at Anfield.
