Here are five of the best free agents that will be available this summer.

Jesus Navas (Manchester City)
The summer overhaul that is planned by Pep Guardiola for this summer should see a number of players leaving the club. Despite his appearances in the side lately, in a new right back role, it is likely that the 31 year old, who has been at City for nearly four years, will be heading back to Spain.

He has only made ten starting appearances in the league this year, and the arrival of Leroy Sané, coupled with the improved form of Raheem Sterling has meant that his chances have been limited. The likelihood is that he’ll be heading back to his former club of Sevilla, with reports suggesting that his son has already been enrolled at a school in the city in anticipation of his return.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Manchester United)

For United to be relying on a striker that is approaching his 36th birthday isn’t exactly how things should be going at a club of their stature. However, Zlatan isn’t exactly any old player. Since turning 30, he has scored 250 goals in 308 games in Italy, France and England, and he this season he has comprehensively proven wrong anyone who doubted that he could still offer something at the highest level.

It is thought that LA Galaxy ha
ve offered him the chance to become the highest paid player ever in the history of the MLS, but will the temptation of playing in one of Europe’s big leagues and finishing the job that he came to United to do, be too much for him?

Yaya Touré (Manchester City)

Another player who is out of contract in Manchester this summer is the Ivorian midfielder, who had been frozen out by Guardiola at the start of the season, only to be let back into the fold, once his outspoken agent, Dimitri Seluk, had apologised for criticising the manager. The likelihood is though that Touré will be moving on, with there being no sign of any contract extension from the club.
Touré’s pace is no longer what it was, with games in the Premier League often passing him by, even if he can still pick a good pass every now and then, bringing control to the midfield. The thought is that he wants to remain in Europe, and not follow the crazy money to China or the US, and if he’s put in the right role, in a less frenetic league, he could still do a useful job for a team.
