Liverpool Egyptian Star Mohamed Salah has broken another record in Europe after netting a goal against Manchester City on Tuesday night.
He has equalled a record held by Cameroon legend Samuel Eto’o in the UEFA Champions League.
Just days after Mahmoud Hassan ‘Trezeguet’ matched Eto’o’s league tally in Turkey this season, another Pharaoh managed to do the same but on the biggest stage in European Football.
Salah’s 39th goal means he has now scored eight goals in the Champions League. He has matched the Samuel Eto’o’s record number of goals in one campaign, the highest by an African player in the history of the competition.
